Can you believe it is August already???

Hi all!

I am currently avoiding work. I really, really don't like working on the weekends. It just seems cruel.

I hope everyone is doing well. It seems everyone is really busy. Probably the consequence of being 30-plus.

Things have been kinda crazy around here lately. The weirdest thing happened at my parents' house the other night. Apparently, a 16-year-old girl was abducted right in front of their house around 11 p.m. on Friday. She was later found alive. Thank god! I hope she is okay. I was shocked that it could happen there. I always assumed my parents' home was safe. I liked having that illusion.
